Question Question

Hey guys, i hope you all are having a good night. I wanna get this shifter (http://www.shopatron.com/products/pr...61.19261.0.0.0) but i dont know if it will fit on my 07 350Z, or how to install it. Anyone in here has any experience in this field? I would appreciate any help.

Any of the aftermarket ***** that I've had have various-sized inserts and you'd use whichever one fit your shifter. They usually have set screws that hold the **** in place on the shifter.

From the looks of that ****, the bottom is probably a threaded ring. With it out of the way, there's probably three set screws. Those would be tightened down, and then the ring would be slid up and screwed on to the ****. Done.

Example: http://www.abdracing.com/mini/projec...opers03-3.html

Z **** just unscrews. You'll want to isolate the shift handle so that it doesn't rotate when you remove the old one. You could screw up your transmission.

Thank you so much for your input! The thing that im really concern is the leather boot and how to attach it to the new shifter. This is the only thing holding me back from buying this item, (I really like this shifter).
