Default Gas Octane

Hi I have an 03 350z track with an intake and an exhaust I was wondering is it ok to use chevron 92 octane ? I heard I am just wasting my money by using 94 octane (have been using this since I bought it 2 yrs ago)

Minimum required for our engines is 91... You'll be fine...

ok thanks I will start using chevron 92 octane.. I also heard that by using 94 octane I am hurting the cars performance is this true ?

So I don't benefit by using 94 octane on my car correct ?
