Hey guys.. this might be a coincidence but yesterday we had an alarm install on my girlfriends 350z. Everything was fine until we were about to leave. The Service Engine Soon, TCS OFF, and SLIP lights are all on and you can floor the gas pedal and the car will barely go.

When you start the car the rpms drops and the car dies or rpm drops and it has a rough recovery to idle or you give it a little gas when starting and it will idle

I have pulled the battery for 6 hours and tried again and the lights are still there. I even tried the manual ECU reset by turning key on and hitting gas pedal but nothing.

ANYONE?? I have not pulled codes yet.

 

sounds like the car is in limp mode to protect itself. alarm install caused this?.. did anyone at the shop drive the car at all? pulling the codes is a good start, you can do that for free at most auto stores.

 

Make sure your MAF sensor is plugged in. Pull code and go from there

 

Sounds like a fukd up wiring job to me...

 

sound exactly like what my alarm will do if i unlock the car wrong, except mine wont even turn on for more than 1 sec, go back to the alarm installer.
