Titanium Bolt Upgrade! Big Ballers in the House!
Just thought I'd post up a few teaser photos of what I've been tinkering with...
Full TITANIUM Burnt bolts / nuts and hardware! Nearly completed with the engine bay, still a few more to things to complete so not 100% done, but will be ready by SEMA.
Here are a few pics for you guys
(BTW these are pricy, but if anyone is at all itnerested in doing some TI stuff, PM me, we can source out the product for you through my supplier
)

OP states that it was just in the engine bay, so I'm assuming he means those that are readily visible and not every single bolt in the engine bay (which is nearly impossible). The weight savings here are pretty much negligible and it is more for aesthetics than anything else. I mean, how much do you think the difference is between a regular bolt and a titanium one? Now multiply that by any reasonable number of bolts/nuts and you'll see that it's nowhere near 10kg (22lbs).
I dunno, if he's building a car for SEMA, I don't see why it'd be so far fetched to believe he'd be doing a full Ti conversion. I've worked with a lot of Titanium and there -is- a weight difference. Certainly not 22lbs worth
but a difference nonetheless.

I didn't see any smilies so I thought you were serious.

Nobody said it'd be far-fetched to believe he's doing a full titanium conversion. I simply said it's damn near impossible to replace every single bolt and nut on the car (sourcing every single different part would be difficult enough).
With that being said, you would not be able to justify the price you'll be paying to replace every single nut and bolt and clip and whatever else with titanium ones for the weight savings. Unless you're doing this for aesthetic purposes, it's not very cost-effective.
I'm not trying to disparage what OP's done, but just stating the obvious as the issue of shedding weight was brought up. I personally wouldn't do it on my car for any reason, but it does look hot on OP's car and goes with his theme. My only gripe would be that the washers aren't titanium (at least it's not multi-colored like his paint or his bolts/nuts) and paint lifting at where the washers/bolts are pressing down on it.
