. I did a search but only the 06 oil consumpion problem...i'm not very savy with motors. i'm having alot off issue with off burning with my z. only mod i have is exhaust,TP, MD Spacer, Intake, UpRev tune, and suspenion. what would cause it to burn soo much oil in-between oil changes?
i get them done at 3k-4k.. with motul oil. any input would be helpful plz!!

burns about 2-3 qts between oil changes.

what if you switch oils? This is a long shot, but I know the Z doesn't like some oils (usually RP from what I have heard). Never heard of problems with Motul though. Still have the powertrain warranty?? Doubt the exhaust/intake/suspension mods would cause problems.....the Up-rev may be an issue though (stealership may give you a ton of crap if you try to get work done).

Thats not good, I have an 03 and I use Royal Purp, no leaks, no consumption, no burning. I'd have that checked out asap.

Some non rev-ups do burn oil also. You're out of warranty, so all you can do is keep on top of it, try some thicker oil, add BG MOA additive, etc.

PCV valve change ( i think the Z has one) and keep an eye on your oil. Letting it get 3 quarts low is really bad.
