need stock engine build
This site has a forced induction section. Spend alot of timing reading in there, alot of good information
Why 425hp? sort of a random #
What is your budget? Take what you think it's going to cost, and set aside at least another 50% for the incidentals that will crop up
To make that power in the safest and most reliable way, be prepared to build a motor. Build it now, build it later, but be prepared to build it

you have ALOT of studying to do in the FI section. It will take you some time to research but you will learn the right way to do it to minimize your chances for an expensive mistake. Research will be your best ally
your first purchase if you are seriously considering doing this should be a daily driver.

Buy the Cossworth Short Block and Heads and you can do whatever you want to the engine.

ull be fine on ur stock block with a vortech kit and if ur at 400whp.. its obviously a risk.. but well worth it imo and vortech is ur cheapest way to get to 425hp.. and more on the reliable side of a FI kit.
obviously any kind of forced induction is not safe.. 425hp to the engine is ok on a stock block.. 425whp is still ok but imo its pushing the limits.. but whoever goes FI is taking a risk if u got a built motor or if you dont.. its a risk you take..
