Where is the noise coming from? Under the hood or under the car?

How long does it last? A few seconds or a few minutes?

Single click or multiple? Slow click or fast?

What does it sound like? Marbles rattling in a can, metal creaking?

Depress your clutch when you shut the engine off. It will probably go away.

its coming from under the car multiple clicks soon as you turn the key off and the motor is shutting down it does in for about a second it sounds terribble

That's definitely what I thought it was. Push in your clutch.

Cool, is it a clutch problem that needs attention or something?

Nope. It's normal. It's always a good idea to depress the clutch when you shut down anyway whether there's noise or not.

Even the 370s make that noise when shutting down.

Again, thanks Dave...I never worried much about it, but since the other dude asked, I was kinda intrigued. I just figured it was part of the "noisy transmission" thing
