hr and de flywheel differences

They are not the same from what I have seen. All the vendors have different sales for de and hr clutch/flywheels. I do not know exactly what the differences are since I have never compared the two. Here are some links showing a vendor selling for the different motors:

You'd be wise to check the bolt pattern for both flywheels BEFORE you put your hard earned money down. I haven't measured them, so I'm no help there. But Nissan engineers changed so much on the HR that I wouldn't leave it to chance.

You'll need a LOT more than just drivetrain bits if you're trying to complete the swap from a DE to a HR. We detailed a HR swap into a SCCA T2-spec 350Z racecar in the last issue of Nissan Sport Magazine.

If your app is a tubeframe racecar, then you'll have plenty of time to verify flywheel specs before installation. Are you running a 350Z body? What sanctioning body and rule set are you racing with?
You might want to post a few details about your car in your signature. It'll save some confusion in the future.

Here in the states there are tubeframe classes that race in Sports Car Club of America and unlimited class cars for NASA (all road racing cars).
