Default Mishimoto Radiators opinions anyone?

I saw this thread.
https://my350z.com/forum/engine/4510...tart-64-a.html

I bought stuff from Gruppe s before, and was thinking of picking up a Mishimoto Radiator since the pricing looks to be REALLY good. Does anyone have any experience with Mishimoto products? I heard they are pretty good, and a "Best Bang for your Buck" kind of product. Any opinions and reviews?!?!?

My friend picked up a Mishimoto Radiator from Gruppe S, he said everything went super smoothly and said it made a HUGE Difference in cooling, especially when he took it to the track. He also said they redesigned their products from before so its even better quality now, and the price for them is good to go. Its on my mod list to grab up.

+1 for Mishimoto Radiators

I've been running one for 1.5 years now. No probs, and will buy their products again.

I know I'm biased because I'm sponsored by them, but they truly do make a good product and wouldn't use them if I didn't believe in the product. Fit and finish was good, JTran had no issues installing it compared to some Koyo's he's installed according to him. As for cooling, it's hard to say cause I had other cooling mods done at the same time.

I have their radiator, fan, and hoses. Fitment requires a little bit of tweaking, but nothing major. My cap also came with the inability to hold pressure so they sent me a new one. Price/performance, it was a great purchase and don't regret it at all. Makes a huge difference in cooling compared to stock.

I got a great deal on my Mishimoto for my G35 from ImportedPerformance

BUT, I can tell you guys that the Mishimoto radiator for the G35 still fits like crap. Alot of modification to make it fit. I had to drill new holes and hack up the radiator support to get it to fit. Not to mention that horrible QC from Mishimoto. My weld tabs were in the wrong spots, they welded the wrong sized flange...

Look at the size difference between the "same" tabs

But once in, you notice how huge it is compared to stock. Hope it doesnt leak..

I agree with what others said. I bought mine new off ebay for <$200 shipped a couple years ago when i installed the blower. Aside from having to "tweak" the tabs a the bottom to get her to fit, it's been a great mod!! (They may have taken care of that issue by now)

I don't track my car, so i can't vouch if it cools any better/worse then stock. Also i did many other cooling mods the same weekend i installed this. But it does have considerably more capacity then stock so that can't be a bad thing. Fit and finish may not be the greatest, so if that's something you care about spend twice as much for the same thing and buy a Koyo. I've never had any failures, or issues related to this piece.
