So they already put the trans in the car and now it needs a clutch? and they are going to put it in for free? Something is up if that is the case. Clutch is a ware item but the flywheel is covered for 5/60 and you should not have to pay for it if it is bad.

I would ask to see your old clutch and ask what they seem to think is wrong with it.

I can see a stock clutch being worn out in that mileage if they car has been drivin hard or the operator is not a good driver of a standard shift.

No they took the tranny out and said that the transmission was bad, then i asked them to take a look at the clutch and flywheel and see if those would be covered since the tranny was defected and might of caused the clutch and flywheel to be defected as well.

I just recently bought the car, and i think i kno why

They don't show a difference for their clutch kits and as far as I know spec doesnt make a HR clutch kit. If they are sending you a DE clutch kit beware.. They are not an exact fit...
Ya it wasn't on there site, he said it just came out last week or something.

Not from the clutch but a incorrect aftermarket flywheel tooth pattern/damaged teeth could cause it.

I'm at Yark Nissan, They do really good jobs, They just won't cover the Flywheel and Clutch.

I went and took a look at my car today and this is what i found.

And this is why my clutch was slipping.

Clutches are out of warranty after 12,000 miles I go to Yark for all my warranty stuff when I am in Ohio. The reason a clutch is not covered is due to a wear item. I have gone round and round on clutches before with nissan.
