Ok guys, I've read other threads trying to figure it out but so far the ones I looked at do not have the same happening as I do.

I have a 2004 Touring Z with 45,000 miles. ITs 6speed. As of 2 days ago I have started to hear a ticking sound when I have the car in Neutral at idle. When I give it some gas and rev it up the ticking gets faster. However when I push the clutch in it stops. I do not hear it while driving or its just too faint to hear. But I only hear it while at a stop. Please offer some ideas as to what this is???
