Default Exhaust sounds hesitated

Hi guys, my setup is Takeda Intake, Berk HFC, HKS Hi power and Osiri tune.

Here is the problem. I've had the tune done for about 2 months and everything was fine. Only til recently when I step on it on third gear (around 3K - 6K rpm range) I hear thie heistation sound wave coming from the exhaust note. It never had this before and it sounds almost like the "Rev Limiter" sound that goes up and down. Although the hesitation sound isn't as angry as the rev limiter it got me worried because it didn't sound smooth like before.

Has anyone else experienced anything simliar to this? Please kindly share any experience with me as I live very far to my tuner and I hate to drive all the way there if this is nothing serious.

I took it back to the installer and he said everything is tight and no leaks were found.

Any ideas

Clean the maf and the filter. See if that works. Too many people complain on here about lack of power, hesitation, and stalling when letting off the gas. Many times its as simple as spraying the maf with non-chlorinated brake cleaner and washing the air filter.

I actually have done that but it didn't help at all. And when I took out my filters, they were clean like new... I don't think its due to that problem. Please keep the comments and ideas coming, thanks guys!

If it sounds like a bog under heavy load maybe the HFC's are defective. Maybe they fell apart/ are clogged.

That sounds serious man.. if its clogged, are we able to clean it?

What other symptons you would get from a defective HFC? cause the car drives fine, it doens't hesitate on the speed or actual feel any phyiscal hesitation, only the 'sound wave" is hesitating.... Sorry my statement wasn't entirely clear the first time, please advice.

Sounds like cat issues to me as well, but that's odd they would fail at that point. I would imagine the failure would be immediate or a long ways in, not a couple of months later. Good news is, its pretty easy to check, and if you kept your stock units easy to get a temp fix. Maybe your lucky and they can be replaced by the manufacter. So before hollowing them out check with the manufacter and see what their warranty is.

well i do my own labor which saved me so no they didnt give me a thing for that, but u could try to argue that which i wish i did to get something for my time spent...yes contact berk directly, brian is a nice guy...they will take care of u im sure, but no they do not make a resonated test pipe...if u wanted to go with a resonated test pipe i would argue to get ur money back and then buy elsewhere or just have them send u a new set of high flows and try again...i didnt care about the non resonated test pipe cause i have a motordyne xyz/w resonator built in which cut any rasp i had and they next day shipped them to me so i went for it.
