Question Built Engine?

So I've been reading through forums and web sites lately and hear the term "built engine" thrown around a lot. For example I saw a twin turbo kit that would "boost to 400+hp on a stock z engine, or 500+ on a built one."
So what exactly do they mean by built engine?
Thank you in advance and I apologize if this is a dumb question but i'm having some difficulty coming by a clear answer.

Big diesel veiny cams, chiseled rods, ripped crank, yeah that sums it up!!!

Built is in the eye of the beholder... Some guys who have upgraded cams and injectors brag about a "built" motor. If you want to see what a built motor consists of, talk to Alberto..

A built engine is most typically referring upgraded or forged engine internals most commonly the pistons and rods are forged in "built engines".

I dunno, while I agree he should have searched, some of you really have too much time on your hands.. or are way too high on your internet high horses.

Point in the right direction if you will, but leave the pathetic bs to kids his age frankly.

And as always, no one forced you to reply. It's really easy to click that back arrow. If you have the time to make a jackass response... you had the time to answer the question and include your response.

Really failing to understand how everyone here forgot they were once 17 and likewise had little to know knowledge of built engines or any interchangable xyz value.
