i have been using the nissan titan oil filter on my 350z.

its been good i guess? no problems.

its much larger and mates up great. but was wondering if its safe and okay?

should i stick with my larger titan oil filter or go to the small 350z oil filter?

i use the one made for my engine

 

my first two oil changes i used the filter it called for which was mobile 1 filter m-108. now i use the mobil 1 m-110 i believe it is, its the the same size just longer and works fine.

 

^^^i noticed that oil filter varies in size depending on brand too

 

I've always used K&N on my cars I believe the one for the Z is 1008?

 

I've been running the larger Nissan Filters too since being TT.

Never had an issue.

 

9E*** and the 65F01 are interchangeable, 9E* being the Titan/Altima/Frontier/Pathfinder/Armada ect filter is just a bit larger.
