Dealerships can reprogram your transponder for you.
Key cutting is taking a blank key and cut (grind) grooves into it to fit the lock. Yours are already cut. Your transponder is a little chip that needed to be reprogram. PM me if you have any other questions.

Hmm the transponder. Where is it located?
Also is there a way to bypass it (and how)?
And Im able to open and lock the doors and such with my current keyremote, but you belive I still need a reprograming ?

The transponder is a chip "inside" the key. A programmed key is needed to start the car and drive it (if this is the problem). If you can't get to the dealer, a good locksmith can program the key.

I suspect that the only way to program the key is to read the signals from the car?
If there is a key mismatch/ecu/security issue, the security light will come on and stay on (on g35s anyway).
Cam and/or crank position sensor or MAF sensor failures are also possibilities.
Any CEL codes that you can read with the key ON (but not cranking or started obviously with an OBD reader)?

Ive just done an ECU reset. Without any results.
I will proceed with the "DIY for programming the remote" as soon as i find the thread.
Im googling the remote DIY at the moment so, that will be my next step if possible.

But I doubt that would have anything to do with this since I am able to remotly lock and unlock the car allready...?
if you are able to unlock/lock the car its not the battery.
if you can turn your key to the on position without cranking it, to where the dash lights turn on, you can buy an OBD-II port code reader. they cost around $40 USD and see if any ECU codes are tripped
something is messed up with the ECU.

But when I try to read the new errorcodes I do get One. But it is a very strange error..
It says "1. 2: 0" on the first line.
I assume that the number 1 is for "error 1" the first... But the 2: 0????
What on earth does that mean?
Hi all I have just connected the car with another ODB2 reader/sensor and software and I got this error reported to me:
P1122
(P1122 Electronic Throttle Control Actuator)
Has anybody else had this error before and how hard is it to fix it?
Going to google this but all suggestions and pointers are welcome!

I just ran down to the car. dissmounted the intake and tried to move the throttle with my fingers. I was UNABLE to get it to move at all. I used about just as much power as I dared to. Since Im not sure which way the throttle opens I tried to push it "both ways".
Its stuck. Is it supposed to be possible to move the throttle by hand at all since it is electronicly controlled ?
