Default engine wont start need ideas???

so basically i was driving to the gas station on base. I try to start it up at the pump and nothing. The starter is turning over and the battery is holding a charge as well and the voltmeter says the battery has plenty of juice.
eventually i had my friend try to jump me with is 4cyl truck nothing until this guy with an F150 comes by buy hooks it up to his truck and start is right away.
so i figure it might be the starter or the alternator so i drive it for an hour park it and it turns back on right away i go back tonight to take it to autozone to to get everything tested she wont start again. I had two cars try to jump me one a v6 the other a v8 nothing happens and the engine sounds exactly the same when its being turned over when its being jumped or my battery is cranking it over itself. At this point we proceed to try to push start it since its manual first we push with marine power then with another car to get more speed and still nothing. Im having it towed to a dealer tomorrow but need ideas on what the problem is so i wont get ripped off.
At this point can the battery and starter be ruled out?? cause im starting to think its the fuel pump but Im not sure, need ideas. i can produce a sound clip on demand if that might help

?i dont think its the battery because wouldn't it still be able to be jumped even if the battery volt meter reads fine and it hold a charge over 12 volts

+1 it might not have the cranking amps to turn it over. Its the cheapest, the dealer will likely replace the starter, alternator and battery anyway.

So, it sounds exactly the same when it's cranking on its own battery as when it's cranking on the other vehicle's battery, but it only starts when cranking on the other vehicle's battery?

Sounds like there's a bad connection somewhere on your car, and the current isn't getting from the battery to the ECM. Where are you hooking up the leads from the other vehicle?

Yup.. Cranking amps might be it.. the battery is probably a little sulfated causing it not to deliver the amperage it is supposed to.. you can also check for surface discharge but i doubt thats the problem..
