Stillen Intake + Air Duct. I read on here that the JWT Pop stalls at high speeds and something about it sucking in hot air, so i'll just get stillen if that is true.

Plenum Spacers(motordyne 5/16”)
Tanabe sucks if yoru trying to make power. It sounds great, i had one with the Tanabe Y pipe. Then i swapped to Motordyne and gained 9 hp , look at the motordine site. Mine is the first dyno under the shockwave.

The stillen is good as any intake, but for a lot less you can get the JWT. The Jwt sucks hot air till the car starts moving, then the hot air clears and you pull roughly 10 degree hotter air than a stock intake, but you have a lot better flow.

Stillen sucks hot air in as well. I was suspicious that it would since the bottom is entirely open, but it was confirmed on a dyno at MRC a while ago. However, this does not occur while moving as far as I know.
+1 on Popcharger. Cheaper and isn't much worse than anything more expensive

Spark Plugs(any good brands in particular?)
Cams(any good brands in particular?)
Headers(Should I)
ECU Reflash at the end.
You did some research. Cool. But you are starting in a hole. Not only will those bolt ons not add much HP but you have the rev up motor so make sure you don't have any oil leaks because that motor is notorious for oil consumption.

I'm telling you sportsfan, it might sound crazy, but it works. There are very few members who had the guts to do it. Try it and get back at us on your results.

I seriously warn you against getting a Y-Pipe, because the 350Z needs a Z-Pipe, clue is in the model name...

Personally, I would suggest the Thrust upgrade. I went with the SSC version. It's not cheap, but there are no superchargers or turbochargers involved. You'll need to do some minor bodywork on it and the engine needs a few minor changes. Biggest problems are the fuel it uses is expensive and it's not strictly road legal. The weight goes up, but the power improvements are worth it. It'll definitely be faster than the stock car. Video of me giving it a run in Nevada:

Starting from intake to exhaust....
-K&N drop in filter (dont' waste your money with a CAI or pop charger...) $57.00
-MREV2 (lower plenum replacement) $420.00
-5/16" Iso Thermal plenum spacer $250.00
-Stillen equal length headers (ceramic coated) $625.00
-AAM Test pipes (always had good luck with there products) $249.00
-Greddy TI-C dual exhaust $1,000.00
-UpRev software/tune (You will not feel much until you get a tune!!!!!!) $700.00...

The above is a list of quality products (not the cheapest and not the most expensive).
All of the above can be installed with simple hand tools and a bit of common garage sense... aside from tuning....

You can also do:
-JWT clutch and flywheel $775.00
-4.08 Ring and Pinion swap $470.00 (check with Andy at Performance Nissan for install kit
-LSD $500-2000
-JWT S7 cams $1,100.00

Above are more extreme N/A mods... that most people can not do in there garage at home. The labor for the above will add to the cost quite quickly ( you can count on doubling the price including install ex: $1,100.00 cams ... $1,100.00 install if your lucky)

Also if you want to get more technical ... you can start to get into suspension/lightweight tire and wheel setups. This along with a good LSD will help you hook up and get moving (bring 60' times down) and give you more control.

But by this point you could do a vortech (sc-trim) or single turbo(boosted performances' when he gets all the bugs worked out or a Power Lab kit) for less then what I have listed above.

LOL @ the "experts" recommending headers!

I have yet to see a car with headers outperform my old NA setup in both power and TORQUE numbers or on the strip.
