Or is it not stock? I bought it from Passport Infiniti in Alexandria. Can all 2005 Non revup 350Z's rev to 7000?

I just want to make sure my 350Z is stock.

 

Non rev-up motors REV limiter cuts in exactly where the redline on the tach starts. ( 6600 i believe.).. If you car is Reving higher than this you either have a Rev-up motor, or a Reflash on your ECU.. Usually you can look at the ECU and it will have a sticker on it if it was reflashed.

My 5at in manu-mode is able to rev over 7000 also. No point. When in Drive it shifts at the 6700 redline instead.

 

The tachometer is not all that accurate. I wouldn't worry about it.

 

Yes it can.

 

Mine looks to cut it around 6800 but the ECU tune is OEM, like RCdash said its probably more of a tach variance.
