don't worry over solid mounts. they are totally tame in these cars! trust me. I drive clients around in my car (with solid mounts) and no one has a clue that I have solid mounts in the car.

Quadcam is 1000% spot on. Solid motor mounts are nothing to fear in these cars. Stock motor mounts are already quite stiff. Awfully hard to say if either of the 2 you linked are even better than stock, since neither tells you what durometer rating they are and both give the same generic, and with respect to Z/G's, false representation that stock motor mounts are soft. Stock mounts are anything but soft. Solid ones do help...better throttle response, and for the high power guys out there, zero chance of breakage.

And if you need a transmission mount, we got those too (combo deal is $255 for engine/trans mount when purchased together). The trans mounts in the Z/G, unlike the factory motor mounts, are like jello. Very soft, and the bushing does not even encompas it's entire area. Lots of wobble, lots of movement.

thanks for the heads up about solid mounts.
I was always under the impression that it would make the car shake to a point of embarrassment when having passengers.
GLad to hear this is not the case.
WIll be getting the solid motor mounts, 75A tranny mounts, and SPL solid diffy mounts [bushings].
That should def tighten things up.
