Default high rpm 350z

So i was driving down the highway and just make a right at a stop light, of course im at 1st gear then rev up to around 6500 rpms then shift to 2nd this time i rev up to around 7000-7300 rpms and the engine seemed to stall for a split second? this was the first time i decided to get around the 7000 rpms section, im not sure if it was an rev limiter but the engine stopped and i quickly shift to 3rd

i have a 2004 350z, roadster

the car feels different after that happened, well maybe its my imagination haha the mind is a pretty crazy thing, but takes a bit more [i think] for 2nd gear to reach the 5000 rpms.

has this happened to you guys by revving that high?

thanks !

With your rev limiter set at 6800 how did you ever hit 7300 rpm?

Sounds like whoever you bought it off of might have had it flashed. Would of switched the rev limiter around where you're r talking about the "engine shutting off."

Be careful at 7,000 RPM plus. You will go into the 4th dimension and we may never get you back.
