Default jwt cluth/flywheel adjustment tool?

Hi I, am preparing to instal my jwt clutch and flywheel combo and I am wondering what happens if I don't have the adjustment tool??

Is it that useful?

Can I use something else if it is so important??

thanks

I think you mean the alignment tool...........

local autoshop or nissan dealer will have one. they are plastic and usually sold for about 5-15 bucks depending on where you go...

its the plastic shaft shown on the bottom of this pic:

If thats what your referring too, which i think it is, because JWT doesnt send it with their clutches anymore (they use to) then thats what you need.

yes you need one.....if you dont know that?? whos doing your clutch install? a shop? they may have it? ask them as well...

i didn't have the alignment tool either, but my friend was able to put it in really smooth. go get 1 at auto part store, it makes the installation easy if this is ur first time.

the Z uses the same as the rest of the Nissans IIRC - most shops have them (or should if they are doing clutch installs )

If for some bizarre reason you can't find one, you can also use a spare tranny input shaft (we all have those layin around, don't we?) Works just as well, if not better.
