Does your "change oil light" come on every 3000 miles? I bought my 2006 350Z for like 6 months and drove more than 6000 miles.... the Change oil light doesn't come on and remind me to change the oil...

 

first off, you may need to get your flame suit on. second, if you need a light to remind you to change your oil every 3000/3 months you got issues.



ps, the Z does not have this feature. read your owner's manual and learn a thing or two about your car.

 

Don't change the oil until the light comes on and has been on for 3,000 miles.

Nope there is no light, I don't think you need an oil change every 9k miles anyway.. according to the owners manual.

There's no oil change light, but I believe the Factory Navigation has a reminder that comes on 3750 miles past the last time it was reset, which would have been the last oil change.

Not sure if it's in the current Navi but it definitely used to be available...

change your oil dude. when you go to a shop (assuming you dont change your own oil) they should put a sticker on your windshield to remind you when it's due.

I change my blinker fluid every 6k

but my engine oil is changed every 3k light or no light

 

Should I grease the muffler bearings at the same interval, or are they sealed for life? I normally change the air in the air in the tires at that time but never could find an answer on the bearings....

 

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Dont worry the light will come on, your oil is still good thats why it hasnt lit up.... Drive that beast!

 

of course... I did change the engine oil every 3500/3 month.. i just wonder if there is such function on the Z... thanks for replying...
