Default Final Drive/LSD Problem

I have a new Giken LSD and Central 20 3.9 final drive gearset sitting at my installers shop but he's unsure how to proceed. Says that even if he can get the ring and pinion into the hogshead he doesn't see a way to measure for shims. He's trying to build it off the car in a used hogshead so we can swap my original factory viscous unit to unit. I don't think his problem is with the Giken but with the gearset. Anyone know of any shops in my region (Kentucky) who have experience with this work?
Any input greatly appreciated.

lol print him up a manual and bring it to him. there are special tools needed to do this. unless you want to replace your gears sooner than expected i would take it to someone who has these tools.

Default OS Giken Diff Set-up

Well I had it installed badly by a local jackass and it cooked the fluid and started making horrible noises after a track day and a half. I doubt it was ever working to it's full potential. Just last week a shop I have some confidence in opened it up and found bad bearings but the ring and pinion and the diff itself appear to be okay. His guess was the crush sleeve on the pinion either wasn't replaced or the new one was torqued down too far. Said the gear teeth wear pattern doesn't show full contact.
So now it'll be redone using the proper tools and I'll have a few months in the car before the first track day. About all I can tell you from having it in the car was mid-corner acceleration was fantastic!
