Default Synchromesh???

Hey guys anyone have any experience with GM synchromesh?
I've heard people using this is other vehicles and wanted to know its compatibility with our Zs.

Did a search....not too much help out there.

Thanks!

I've heard good things about it too.
But with the overwhelming amount of Z owners recommending Redline I gave it a try.
It would be great if someone can speak up.

Redline is horrid. It takes forever to warm up and it makes shifting very un-smooth.

I switched to Amsoil and I am SO please. I'll use amsoil from now on.

I'm leaning toward agreeing with you. I switched from Royal Purple to Redline and I'm not impressed. This past winter when it was cold, the trans was noticibly harder to shift. Plus I believe gas mileage has dropped one MPG.

I'm tempted to switch back after only 6 months.

I have used the GM synchromesh in my car before i got my 350z and it worked great.
I just put in a new light what streetlight flywheel and clutch. so i put the synchromesh in my Z also. its been a week already sense i did the work and it runs great and smooth.
