First LS7 350z
Priced out a swap on a LS2 a while back and it was going to run in the 12,000 range. And thats with me doing all the installs/fab work.
My LS1 swap cost about $10,000-$12,000 with me doing all the fab work and isntallation. But that is also with all new parts such as a built TCI TH400 and a Electromotive full standalone engine managament and ignition system.
saw this car over at A-1 racing a few time before and after the swap.. i must say your car is just flat out perfect. Since your fire wall is no longer the stock one, were will you be running the car first? You gunna run D1gp at englishtown?
what is the point in making a statement like this, as if you have first hand knowledge ?
there is no such thing as a 'bulletproof motor'
And more power gets you what exactly? Bragging rights on a forum? With the relatively simple internal configuration this particular engine has, I'd be willing to bet that it will last far, far longer than the avg. built TT equipped VQ does. Not to mention, overlay the dyno charts of a modest LS such as this, and a TT VQ that would put down similar #'s. I know which one I'd rather have (and as a general rule, I'm not a fan of engine swaps as I like keeping it the family..but the LS is a pretty incredible piece of equipment)

to the OP - very, very sweet car, enjoy it! Looks like an absolute blast to drive
any info on what the final weight checked in as? You've got alot of lightening mods done from the looks of it? What did you end up using for a diff/final drive?
