Mercedes-Benz Engines In the Next Nissan Z?

I spent about a year or so after graduating working at a BMW dealership. If this does happen (and I do doubt it will), get ready for engines that are close to impossible for the end user to work on. And that goes for just about everything. The Germans, God love 'em, are getting to a point where they would rather no end user have any ability to mess with "German perfection" at all.
I bought my Z for only a handful of reasons, one of them being the VQ motors. The only motor I'd really like to see replace the lively V6 is possibly a high, quick revving I6.
