Default Oil Cooler Help

Hi guys,

I'm looking at replacing my HKS oil cooler core with a larger Setrab unit. I've got mine installed in front of my wheel arch on the drivers side, and i would like to keep it there. The HKS core is 200mm x 220mm i believe (i think i ordered the largest one they have), and the Setrab units i'm looking at are the 283 x 193mm or the 283 x 263mm. So i was wondering if anyone would know if they would fit in the same place (preferably the larger one). I don't have my car anywhere near so i can't measure up myself, sorry.
Also, when HKS say there hose is #10 i assume they mean there -10 hoses and fittings right?

Thanks guys!

#10 is 10an.

Impossible for someone to know without pics of how you have it installed and measurements. You're adding something to teh car that is 3" longer on one option and 3" longer and just over 2" wider on the other. WIthout seeing where it's mounted and measurements of stuff around it nobody could answer if it will fit.

Yeah i can understand that. I just need to know if it will physically fit the area. It's a custom job, so i can change the mounting locations if needed.

still impossible question without measurements or pics.

the only person that would know is someone running one, and if there are people running that large of one on here it's a small crowd. Maybe someone will catch this and chime in.

Probalby your best bet is to look in the road racing forums and just start asking individual members that you know have built cars. They would be the best chance for running that size.
