Today i changed the rear diff fluid with Amsoil 75w90 EP and i felt real big difference. I don't know if it has anything to do with shifting but it shifts smoother and i get less jerky motion when changing gears.
So i think i'm going to change my tranny fluid soon for better shifting lol
Many ppl recommend redline MTL and MT 90 mix so this is gonna be my choice. But when i mix them, do i need to mix them before putting in the tranny? or can i just put one bottle of MTL in and put another bottle of MT 90 in the tranny? I know I need 3.1 quarts in there. I don't really like the bubbles appearing when shaking the 2 fluids together in a bottle.

Either way really... It's all going to be mixed together once it's inside the tranny reservoir.
I'd recommend mixing before you put it in though because you're not going to exactly top out at 3.1 quarts. It's going to be more or less and if you dump it in one bottle at a time, it's not going to be a precise 50/50.
If there's going to be bubbling, then just mix it a few hours beforehand and wait for the bubbles to settle down....

The reason i ask is because when refilling 50/50 coolant, you mix before put in although you can use the measuring cup or something to put the exact amount.
Thse thing is that i don't have extra bottles to measure the amount. If i put 1 bottle of MTL in the tranny and 1 bottle of MT 90 then that's 2 bottles total. I can put rest of the 1.1 bottle by mixing them in the empty bottle. right?

I've never mixed then poured my coolant, and there's no reason you would have to do it with your transmission fluid. Think of it like your digestive process: you can eat your burger and fries separately, but you **** out the mix of burger and fries as a whole. Same thing for the transmission essentially, you put them both in, and eventually they will mix, the gears do rotate, right? And your bubbles will have no effect on anything at all if you choose to mix them beforehand, your shaking of the bottle can't be as rigorous as what the transmission can do to the fluid.

I do'nt see why ppl mix it. I just run MT 90. Everyone said it has problems in cold but it's only 5wt difference which is way too small to notice. In indiana temps below zero i haven't had a single issue with running the "slightly" thicker oil. Then again, i also let my car warm to operating temperature before driving it since i'm not a dumbass.
How did you feel "a big difference" on a diff change? I've never felt a difference on any vehicle i've ever switched over to a high performance oil. Even with oem oil there shouldn't be "jerkiness" when shifting from the diff. That means something is wrong. You probably just changed the way you shift slightly in hopes that you're feeling some great difference. The brain plays tricks.
