Im about to do a trade. I have a 2004 350z performance with limited slip and a 3.5 final drive differential and I have someone who wants to trade his 2007 differential out of his automatic 350z. I was under the impression that all the 350z's that had autos came with 3.3s(which is what im looking for)..how do I know which one it is and if its VLSD like mine?

 

The '07 service manual page RFD-58 says 3.357, but it also says it has the VQ35DE engine, so I don't know how much stock you can put in that number.

The '08 manual page RFD-57 also says 3.357, and it says it has the VQ35HR engine, so I'd go with that number.

It's my understanding that the VLSD is on the Touring and higher models.

 

I thought they were 3.54

Someone who knows will chime in.

 

3.3 for Barbie cars and 3.5 for 6mt

 

Not aware of any changers in final drive since 2003.

 

same as an 06 (i switched mine for an 3.5) big difference in acceleration but my top end got hurt a little

 

i have a 07 nismo and from what i understand 07 has 3.5 but i could be wrong

 

ALL autos come with the 3.3
ALL sticks come with the 3.5
VLSD is on ALL Z's that are not the base model
