Question Replacement clutch (OE or slightly better)

I've searched threads and haven't been able to come up with one that exactly answered my question. I'm looking for a replacement clutch that is better than the OEM one (durability) and costs about $100 more at most.

I'm posting this for a friend who [also] happens to have an '03 base Z and he is having his clutch slip at 60k miles. He's on a tight budget (we're grad students) and would like a clutch that lasts longer than the OEM one if it costs just a little more. If not...he'll stick to OEM. This is for daily driving...no racing whatsoever.

The only thing I was able to find was that the 03 OEM clutch can take 10% more load than the later models and that the JWT uses some parts from the OEM (pressure plate may be only difference?). Any help would be appreciated. He's hoping to replace it next weekend.

That's the thing...he doesn't know what he wants and just knows his clutch is slipping. I told him he'd need a new clutch and pressure plate at a minimum. Not sure about the flywheel since I don't know what that looks like (he plans on doing the job with his friend...). I think the Z/G can't have their flywheel resurfaced so he'd have to shell out probably $500+ for just that if it's bad.

He asked me since I'm more familiar w/ the Z and have had mine longer (7.5 years vs. 1+ for him). Thankfully I haven't had to replace my clutch (31k miles). This question will also help me out when the time comes for me to do it.

P.S. Neither of us would need a light weight flywheel since this is for cruising around and daily driving. The JWT setup seems more performance-oriented, but I'm not sure on the durability for daily use vs. OEM.

No one can tell you how long a clutch will last that is highly subjective.

There is no secret to clutch stages. If the clutch looks like above it will perform similar to the OEM clutch.

If there clutch looks like above you probably want to avoid it.
