I'm curious if anyone has an idea why, when my car is idling, the oil pressure wanders a little. The rpm's don't seem to vary at all but the oil pressure needle slowly goes up and down between 7 and 15 psi. When I accelerate the needle seems smooth and doesn't jump around at all, which seems to me to be the important part, but I just wonder why at idle the pressure wants to vary.
