Subframe, differential and stock gas tank are out of the car. Removing all the rubber bushings tomorrow and designing the new solid aluminum replacements. Hoping to finish stripping all the glue and sound deadener tomorrow also. Then it's on to cutting out the speaker enclosure. Hope to make all the bushings this weekend.

Got the driver side sheet metal filler panel installed. Turned out very nice in my opinion. For anyone who has not taken out their carpet, there is actually a foam filler piece that fills a large void to the inside of the frame rail. This is the hole that this filler piece is now covering.
Made it from 16ga mild steel on a waterjet. Then made my own dimple die to make the strengthening dimples and add some appeal to the panel. Passenger side should be finished tomorrow.
99% of all the sound deadener and tar is removed finally. Just need to finish cutting and grinding where the speaker enclosure was. Then it is onto mounting the fire cell and making the NHRA legal fuel cell firewall and welding in some things such as my 4th and 5th mounting points for my harnesses.
Been working daily on the solid bushings for the subframe and differential. Been trying to machine one a day as right now it is not a huge rush until the fuel cell is in.

snyper, for your clutch slave cylinder, what setup did you use? i bought a mcleod adjustable. immediately after, i saw that sikky makes a conversion. what did you use? i saw your spec sheet said custom. just wondering exactly what id need or be better off picking up the sikky kit

Badass work on your car. Couple of quick questions that I didn't come across reading the thread.
Is your motor placement (far back in bay) in order to get the shifter assembly to line up better? Do you have any pictures of your shift linkage and what was needed to get it shifting properly?
I was looking at the Sikky kit but I'm not sure if their mounts would position the motor more forward and in turn conflict mounting the TH400 in it.

My motor placement is strictly for weight distribution. I am not sure if the TH400 would fit the Sikky kit. The shifted uses a stiff cable instead of a linkage. No placement issues since there is no linkage.
