Default Engine stalls on the road while on idle

Hi fellow Z owners, my car has been having problems. I come to you for aid.

A month ago, I noticed I was a stop light and the engine would just turn off, I have to crank the ignition about 4 seconds to get it back up. Recently its been occuring more frequently. This time I might've cranked the ignition so many times trying to restart that it caused check engine light to appear. As a result VDC and Slip light are on as well (which I assume it's normal if CEL is on). I reset the ECU, CEL went away until 15 mins of driving it stalled again. I am now afraid of driving it because it has become really hard to restart the car back up.

I got the CEL checked @ autozone and they said its my camshaft position sensor code.

My question is, how do i fix this? What causes the car to stall while on idle? (idles about 700-800) I've seen it stall at 1100 rpm. Will a new camshaft position sensor solve this problem? What caused the sensor to become bad? My battery meter is about 3/4 on the gauge, i dont think its my battery.

Any help is greatly appreciated....

This same exact thing happened to me, it is the camshaft sensor. If you replace it the problem is solved.

I have also had this problem and replaced the Exhaust Gas Sensor and it still happens. The car drives fine it only happens when I come to a stop and not all the time. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Thanks,
