Default Strut bar clearance issue

Hey guys, i have a twin turbo'd 03 350z w/ Kinetix V+ intake mani and 5/16th plenum spacer. My stock strut bar cant clear without hitting the hood. Does anyone know which strut bar will clear?

Thanks!

My stock fits fine with the stock hood and V+ intake.

Why both? The point of the Kintetix Racing V+ is to replace the stock plenum without the need of a spacer. Am I missing something? If it gives you better performance, I'm all ears....

So do I. The entire point of the Racing V+ is to increase air flow by reshaping the air cavity intake. The Kinetix plenum works FINE with my stock strut bar and the gain speaks for itself. I'd consider ridding yourself of the spacer. I think it actually may be a warranty issue with Kinetix to have one on WITh their plenum.

try the cusco strut bar like Barnabas suggested. if it still won't clear try using those thick washer spacers.

i had the same setup and i had to sell my motordyne spacer

if i was you i would go with the motordyne MREV 2 manifold and your motordyne spacer, thats what im doin and its the same gain !

then you can clear any strut bar.

Then you have the Racving V+ Plenum. I'd recommend taking the spacer off and enjoy the Kinetix solo! You'll have no issues with your bar whatsoever.

Pig- you aren't twin turbo'd. OP might use the spacer for more air volume? BrazenZ has a specific strut bar on his cause he has a huge spacer.

I'll have to look up Kinetix's website but I could've SWORN that it said NOT to use a spacer with the Racing V+ since it is composite and prone to flexig a little (as we have both seen, Ash). I know that the Racing V+ can handle some boost, just not sure of the exact amount. If I can find it, I'll post it.
