B&M is HUGE in the domestic/muscle car scene. They have been around a LONG time. I have had a couple of their shifters in other cars. No complaints and they did the job well.

so am I right in assuming that rogue specializes more in imports and B&M on domestics?

thanx

I think it's safer to say that B&M started way back when with muscle cars in their era. They have been around and have started to expand their line into sport compact and imports when the craze came about. All I know about Rogue is that they are mainly BMW scene and that I have a Rogue shifter and I likes it.

Default B&M

B&M Has been around forever in the domestic car market. It is nice to see them coming after the Z.

I had a B&M Quicksilver slap shifter in my 78 Camaro. That shifter was bullet proof and flawless. It installed perfectly and shifted better than any shifter I ever had on an auto.

In general B&M has a high quality reputation among the f-body crowd.

I did my install with the help of Kitkos (aka Clayton) and a big thank you for the help.
The shifting is tighter, no doubt about it.
Could they have gone with a bit of a shorter throw....again no doubt.
Is it much better than the original shifter..heck yes!
This is what Nissan should've come out with in the first place, as it's not a radical short throw.
There's a noticeable click into gear now, where before there wasn't.
No great effort getting it into gear and you can ****** gears a bit faster and with a bit more precision.
All in all I'd say it was money well spent.
And a big thank you to BJ for getting it shipped to me promptly

BTW...when you're under your car loosening and tightening the bolt that holds the lower end of the shifter...make sure you're holding onto your socket wrench tight..mine slipped out of my hand, dropped on my face and split my eyebrow open....OUCH!
