I got a good deal on a used carbonetics 2 way LSD with bearing already pressed. The seller said it was used for about 1k miles.
If he is beeing honest about the milage I can just re use the same bearings right? And is there anything I should be looking at when I receive the LSD, wear signs?

 

And just to verify. I have a 2006 base. I need the passenger side stub axle right?

 

Search is your friend. It holds all the info you need.

If you have a base Z then the only 1 for 1 drop in LSD that I am aware of is Quaife. So yes you will have to get the shorty.

It could go either way with the bearings, how is sellers itrader rating?

 

Those bearing last a long time, I have 120k on a set. As long as the bearing are not pulled off, you are good.

 

the bearings are not pulled off. i know im going to need the stub, i was just asking if i was correct in that i need the passenger side only.

and my question was should i look for/or is there any signs that would indicate the diff was damaged in any way. i got it from a seller on ebay with 99% positive feedback.
