Definite answers for 03 CD009 swap
Hey fellows before ya'll start chewin my A** for asking this question, please understand that I have read nearly ever thread posted on this particular discussion and have found several different answers.. so having said that what EXACTLY do i need for a CD009 swap to my 03Z??
So far I have the following info.. please correct me if i'm wrong
Shorter Pivot ball (must have)
Clutch Fork from 06 (?)
Shifter bracket (?)
Frame sensor (?)
My main concerns are the fork, bracket, and sensor.. I am buying a used tranny so i'm not sure what all will come with it. Will my 03 fork work with the 06 pivot ball? Do I use the brakcet from the 03 or 06? Is the frame sensor even a concern?? ANY input will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to have to pull this thing more times than necessary. Thanks

Back in 2006, I swapped in my 4th transmission into my Z. A 009 into a 2003 Z. Details of what you need to do is here, along with pics.

sorry to bump an old thread, but it happens when a guy actually usees search here.
2005 6mt, just bought nismo needle bearing, new slave cyl, new master, jwt clutch flywheel and throwout, .. and i believe the shifter plate was misaligned causing gridning gears... it also has 104k miles on it.
So i went shopping and bought a 2006 G35 6mt cd009 complete w shift bracket, shift fork, throwout...
Im hoping Alberto will chime in and let me know exactly what to use and what to swap in to get this to work.
I read one way on one thread, and another way on another thread.. crazy.
I hear leave the cd009 2006 shift fork, then i hear swap in your old... etc etc.. are there aprts i cant reuse here?
thanks for any help guys.

Definite answer. Need to use a short pivot ball. And preferably use the shifter bracket from the new transmission. The 03 shift bracket can be used but will leave some gaps between the bracket and transmission housing. All other parts can be used either way, though I seem to remember reading the shift fork was upgraded at some point.
