I e-mailed these guys on what upgrades they offered for the 5AT, this was their response. I heard good things about these upgrades.
Dear Enthusiast,
We have a Valve body recalibration that will make the car shift firmer and get rid of the factory lazy shifts, also we offer a torque converter upgrade that will knock off .5 – 1 off your ¼ mile time by recalibrating the stall speed.
Torque Converter Upgrade = $498
Hydrosystem Upgrade = $698
thanks,
John

I'm sure Supra owners would be the first to disagree with this...
This is true. Many single turbo surpras had bad experiences with level 10. However, I am sick of the lazy shift or lack there of in my S/C'ed Z. I wonder if the hydrosystem mod will help my Z shift under full boost? That would be worth every penny.

my Z is n/a and it shifts stock as hard as my Grand Nationals after they had tranny work. I am talking about in the manual mode. I have major wheelspin when i hit second and chirp the tires in third when going through the 1/4. No sloosh at all.

On a side note, I just got off the phone with Jon. He said their email parameters were wrong and that many of the emails were sent directly to their deleted box. He is calling me back this afternoon to see if this mod will help me.

MaxHax has an auto with a procharger and I think nos. anyway he is in the 12's somewhere, he didn't mention any tranny problems.

Basically after modding the car (with most Z's) the valve body needs to be recalibrated. I just orederd the hydrosytem upgrade from Jon at Level 10. I just posted about it a couple minutes ago. Hopefully this helps.

I am fairly familiar with Max's car. He dosen't have NOS anymore. But you are correct, he is free from tranny issues that many others are having. I'm not sure why. One tuner sugested that the ECU is reading the car to be hevier than it is. Maybe Max with his wheels/stereo/body kit etc doesn't have issues because his car is heavier. My car has been lightened. No spare, tools, cats etc.

Off the main topic but i was wondering if you (fowlman) were able to break the tires loose with your AT when you were stock? or was it after mods? I havent been able to break mine loose at all with my 5at.

Consistantly turning 14.33 - 14.21 with 60' at 2.1 97-98 mph.
With the mods I have now I need some slicks, because i am all over the place. Coming out of the hole sideways etc. Obviously I need some practice with the additional HP. I have had only one run with the mods and I went up in smoke, so to speak. I won't even share that ET.
