Is my idle normal? (pics inside)
I just purchased this car.
its an 04 350z Roadster 5A/T
with 100k.
Currently the car shakes and sputters at idle.
Is your idle this low?

hmm seems about right to me... it in the ball park that for sure. I say if if shuttering and shaking, i would just replace spark plugs and maybe do a injector cleaner/replace injectors. I bet someone else probably has a better solution. Also are you throwing any codes?

yah, get a tune up and always do an oil change after you buy a used car.. CHeck your air filter also.

With A/C off and wheel straight ahead, that's normal.

it shakes only at idle. does good under acceleration...

Check for Vacuum leak too.... Mine idled real low, and rough after having a vacuum leak after installing a plenum spacer.

The motor shakes.. actually the entire car shakes. you can feel the vibrations.

the shaking isn't from my idle. it's idling fine.. could my motor be screwed??? it still pulls pretty hard under acceleration.. but it shakes

motor mounts are notorious for getting lose over time with these cars, the engine is probably rattling against the frame.
