Default OBDII Protocol

Does anyone know what OBD II protocol a 2006 350z uses?

I'm monitoring OBD II parameters full time and displaying them on a screen. I'm currently using a Serial OBDII device with a max baud rate of 115200.

I know some of the devices support upto 1.2Mb but it is pointless if I'm limited by the BCM.

So I guess I'm looking for some info on the max speed/refresh rate of the stock BCM/OBDII interface. I know the new CAN systems are quite a bit quicker.

Cheers

Check this thread, there was some discussion of the actual format or protocol used...

Thanks. If it is indeed 9141 then their would be no benefit in me getting a new OBDII reader since I'm already maxing out what it is capable of. Booo.
