Anyone know what the thread on the oil pan for the oil pressure sensor? This thread is going to be the same as the g35 oil pressure switch, correct?

The stock presure sensor is 1/8" BSP, I can confirm that. Now my question is on the pan how would get a pressure reading, unless you mean to replace the OEM sensor. If replacing, changes are new sensor will be 1/8" NPT, most aftermarket sensors are this. What is your trying to do exactly? Be glad to help

240sx vq swap... The actually engine is out of a g35, so atm, there is a oil pressure switch in the pan... I wanted to add a oil pressure gauge so I didn't know what thread I needed for the sending unit... I don't recall seeing a 1/8 BSP sending unit, so should I drill and tap a new hole? The 240sx gauge cluster has a oil pressue switch light so I could actually hook that up too...

Use this
http://gtmotorsports.com/product.php...cat=266&page=1
It comes with a 1/8" mbsp to 1/8" mnpt, adapter block with 2 fnpt ports and 1 fbsp That way you can still use factory sensor along with aftermarket ones. Can always block off what isn't needed either.

Well, it is necessary to look specifically for the wear of the machine and there are many different factors that must be taken into account when selecting such oil. I can only advise you to study the details of the oil type for g35 https://carfluidsexpert.com/top-5-be...-infiniti-g35/ and only so already determined on the oil. I myself have done so and know that this is probably the most accurate way will be, in addition, you will already know exactly what you choose from those that exactly fit, just there are nuances, which are just the same and described here. There are several options and you can already choose from them. Good luck.
