Unhappy OEM top-speed limiter

Hello, it's 3 years since the last post I found on this matter, so things must have changed...

I want (as many of you) remove my OEM top-speed limiter (wich is at 260-265 km/h - Europe-spec 350Z).

Since I live in Greece, the "re-flash" solution is not an option... "there is no such thing / we do not have the computer that does that" is all I hear from Nissan-Greece.. So I'm on my own!!

The only solutions are (if they work that is):
1) Greddy Speed Cut Controller Type A Universal 15590201
2) HKS SLD type 3

Has anyone used them (without a re-flashed OEM ECU)? Are they any good?

ps. I am using a Haltech Platinum 350Z ECU but it can not do anything about top speed (already e-mailed Haltech and that's their answer)

If your saying reflash is possible cause Nissan says they don't know about doesn't mean you can't do it yourself. www.uprev.com Buy the tuner version, and you can do anything yourself. don't need anyone else. Just a Windows laptop of your own.

Nice... Just saw their products.
But does that mean that both HKS & GReddy to dot do the job..?
The only "problem" I have is why pay $700 just to get rid of top-speed limiter..everything else is already solved by the Haltech...

The Osiris solution is around $500-700, the Greddy around $80-120 & the Hks around $250-300...
price-wise there is no comparison!!
Osiris & HKS are way too much for "top-speed removal"..

I've paid almost $800-1000 for the racing ECU (Haltech) that controls the hole car (!!!) - exept the top-speed limiter unfortunately..

Since the speed limit is 100% software in the ECU, the only option is reflash (aside from full standalone), and the only reflash is Osiris since technosquare and cobb are no longer offering it....

How are you so certain that the Haltech cannot do this for you? I would investigate that further. Haltech might not tell you how due to some sort of liability BS, but I would be very surprised if it can't do it.

^ Haltech does not control DBW in any of the official firmware releases. Trying to get it to control DBW just to remove the top speed limiter is impractical. Getting a Haltech for $1000 is a steal! Retail is nearly twice that here in the USA. Osiris includes Cipher for diagnostics so you are getting a lot of functionality for $700 (tuner version).

I e-mailed Haltech and their official response is: NO! Haltech ECU can not eliminate the to speed limiter.

It was frustrating to know that the FconV Pro (that I did not prefer at the time I bought the haltech) can eliminate the speed limiter - and yes, I seen that live from a friend's 350Z...

As for the HKS SLD type 3, the official HKS responce was that it eliminates the 180km/h Japan-market 350Z and they do not know (or do not tell) if it will eliminate the 260km/h European-market 350Z

I have had my speed limiter removed twice, it was once flashed back on accidently during other procedures. I know for certain the Haltech cannot remove it, as I have one and it cannot as has been stated

I reflashed my ECU again for 159mph+ fun

Hey, not fair... I want to play at 159+ too....
Got the power+gears, but my ECU does not agree with me!
Just to be sure, "reflashed" using something like the Osiris?

I am asking because (unfortunately) in Greece you can find hundred of mechanics that can reflash a German car (BMW, WV, Porsche) but NONE that can reflash any Jap car !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really can't figure out the why...
