Getting a JWT clutch/flywheel installed right now
I have this setup, been driving with it for about a month now. Honestly, the chatter is not bothersome at all to me. It was kinda in the back of my head when i first drove around with it, but i rarely notice anymore. Sorry you are having such a bad experience with it.
Ill have to agree with SuperBlack350z

I like the feel of the car better with the lightweight flywheel. As mentioned, I no longer notice the chatter.
again, the more racy stuff you will inevitably do to the car will lessen its impact..
Mines going in a car with solid transmission and rear end bushings, as well as with a JWT POP, test pipes, XO2 exh, and soon to be a Kinetix Velocity to replace my v+.. so air noise is going to be deafening by comparison... next cams and nitrous.. so having a chattering flywheel when my car lopes at idle anyways is of no consequence to me really. No one will be questioning if my car is broken...

I agree with you guys..if you want performance parts, you HAVE to be willing to accept that they might not be as quiet/smooth/comfortable or generally CIVIL when compared to all the OEM gear that's marketed towards every-day drivers. If you look at any sort of race car, whether it's drag, road, autox, rally, or even go-cart racing, they all have one thing in common; they're loud, stiff, not that comfortable (relatively), and require some skill to drive properly. I have recently started buying all kinds of parts to make my car quicker (not necessarily more powerful). LWFW, 1.5 way clutch type OS Giken LSD, 4.08 gears, headers, etc...It takes some getting used to. The chatter from the lwfw, the high revs from gears, the noise of a full exhaust and headers, so on and so forth. One thing I've told myself as I dealt with getting used to these things; it's a tradeoff you make if your goal is a racier sort of car with performance as your highest priority. Soon, (I hope) I'll be getting a lot of suspension parts and eventually a Vortech. I haven't bought them yet, but I already know to expect a harsher ride (possibly, depending on the setup i choose), and yet MORE chattering and noises from the vortech. Personally, I've decided it's worth it, because at the end of the day, when I get out of my car, the grin on my face is worth it. Having a loud car with all kinds of idiosyncratic noises and a high idle is WORTH it to me. So before you buy these performance oriented parts, just make sure that you're willing to put up with these side effects to get what you want; PERFORMANCE!!
Sorry if I rambled, but I just wanted to relate what I've learned throughout my 1st car modification experience, my '03 base, and I don't have a single regret, but only because I did my research and I knew what to expect.
Hope that helps some of the newer would be car modders out there.

get an empty can of tomato paste.. clean it out.
fill it w a small hanful of rocks.
At stoplights, when people look at you funny, simply show them its just your can of rocks you are rattling...
then they will quickly understand, and they will then give you a nod of approval.
Well played sir..... well played indeed.

ok heres my update...
I HATE IT.
The clutch is SOFT.. and it engages very low.
It grabs well however...
The flywheel is Extremely noisy people... I did NOT notice any sort of power gain..and i really wish that I would have stuck with an OEM flywheel..
Sure the engine revs a little smoother and a tad bit quicker.. but the Extra NOISE is NOT worth the trouble.. it is LOUD In Every single gear revving under 2k rpm. Its a very noisy rattle.. Ive only driven it around for a day and I am already considering having it replaced..
If i could go back in time... I would have stuck with an oem flywheel. This is simply my opinion. Hope it helps others out there who are searching for a review of the JWT clutch and flywheel setup.

One of the most common threads here is "my car feels faster." 90 percent are a result of the placebo effect. Have we seen a before and after dyno showing, say, and 10 percent increase in torque? Never. And we never will.
This is a common critique of aftermarket clutch-flywheel. If you have a specific need, say, additional torque with forced induction or drag racing, Aftermarket is a good choice. For daily driving, the OEM dual mass flywheel is street friendly.

*The link I posted says that you actually would see a difference in power on the dyno, provided you dyno in a lower gear (1st or 2nd) which obviously, nobody does. In 4th or 5th, which most people dyno in, the effects of a lightweight fly are so slight they are well within the margin of error.
yeah thats what i hear too, theres a difference between making more BHP and just making changes to the delivery of the BHP already on hand.
Im down to maximize both.
Again, going al the way back to the OP... he said he had a stock car.. so i can imagine hes pretty unhappy w the "advantges" of his new lwfw as is..noisey as heck on a bone stock car.
but any mods he can throw on it will quickly add the juice up now IMO.

i got my car back and its awesome.
DOnt know how much of its new pep has anything to do with a flywheel, and its probably not much, but with test pipes and a POP charger at the same time, its extremely fast now.
Ill say that the feel of the JWT clutch is great, not chattery.. MAYBE just a hair when starting out from a full stop.
Not really that noisy at all.
Grabs like hell, and i have about 300 miles on it now.
Edit--- the throttle blip/rev matching is perfect now.. i love it. And THATS primarily the only real benefit i get from the LWFW.
Pedal feel IS stiffer, dont care what anyone says.. its greater pressure than the OEM for sure.
I had them do a SS line and all new master n slave tho.. dunno.
So is it nice? yep.. would reccomend them all day long so far.

wow i was scared...i just ordered the JWT clutch/flywheel package Concept Z Performance has for $775 shipped and i'm doing the work with my friends. I drift my car, have coilovers, cusco 2-way diff in it and the only noise that REALLY bothers me is my GF saying "Really Jordan, is it worth it?" while looking at me in disgust about my locking diff making my wheels hop driving around parking lots, my transmission and lip kit scraping everything, and i guess soon the flywheel rattling...i don't like having to swap out all these "luxury" oem parts for aftermarket "performance" parts on a sports car because middle aged women buy them too... /rant
