Impressions on my TWM shortshifter kit...
two parts..
one purely factual.
the other, purely monetary.
So among swapping out parts for the ol JWT intake n clutch n fly last week, i also added an Avid transmission mount ( can you say vibrating floor?) and the TWM Short Shifter, M1 Abrams and SS extender kit.
SO far... i will say that the overall look of the parts is top notch.
And they are heavy.
The shift length is quite short now, and i do feel that all short shifters for this car will probably manifest the sticky synchro issues and magnify it.
That being said, i cant imagine it being as pleasureable to drive without the extra leverage of the extender.
I am still breaking it in ( clutch n master etc) and it hasnt been readjusted at all.. but it seems quite nice and is pretty to look at for sure.
Wana buy one? use the link below... then they will be happy they sent me some cash back for the write up and all will be well.

well...
didnt quite take before pics so that aint gonna help ya.
But luckily TWM did.. check out their website ( note my redirect to TWM page...buy buy shop shop) jk.
Nah but seriosuly, it seems like a nice piece, and i can imagine if i had bought something sub par or multi piece.. having a much worse expirience. I never had my trans swapped for warranty, so im pretty ntochy in the first place.. BUT my 6th to 5th gear grind is gone now.
Like i said, i did some solid mounts at the same time, and Im relearning a new clutch n fly, so my shifting isnt as immacualte as it had been before, but hey, now my clutch works, so im not complaining.
