Default UP-Rev tune with Dyno Results - 2007 350Z

Just had my 350z tuned at Dent Sports Garage in Norwood MA (awesome guys, lots of experience with the UP-rev and with 350z's in general, about 25 minutes south of Boston). My particular Z has:

2007 touring model - 3.5HR - ARK Grip TD exhaust - K&N drop ins - 10,5xx miles

I wanted the tune because with the new exhaust I had lost some initial throttle response and the 'butt-dyno' did not feel any noticeable gains. Before reading the results below, please note that they use a Dynamics Dyno, which tend to read much lower then Dynojet dynos, some say even or a tad lower then Mustang dynos. I did not ask for a correction and was not looking for huge numbers, but rather to see what the gains would be from where I was to what the Tune would deliver.

Base pull - 248 peak RWHP
Final pull - 265.9 peak RWHP

18 WHP Gain!

The difference is like night and day. Crisp throttle response, more torque and power throughout the whole RPM band and even affected some stumbling I had noticed once I had converted to the ARK exhaust. Overall this was a great mod and one I would say is a must have for anyone who has modified their intake or exhaust. Very happy customer and will return there for a new diff this summer. I attached the graphs however cannot sort out how to post them in the thread. Any advice here?

OP, awesome gains! If you don't mind me asking, how much was the tune? I might ask them to do a tune on my G35. I'm thinking about wiring in an eManage blue, do you know if they have experience with that?

The tune was $600 - included 4 maps. 1 for 93 octane, 1 for 89 octane (in case you are in Maine where 93 does not exist) 1 valet map and 1 anti-theft map.

I would think they have experience with anything nissan related. They have several nissan rally cars and have done some serious projects (turbo, SC, etc). i would highly recommend this shop.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to give them a call when I get around to buy the eManage.

Is that after you already purchased the osiris cable? I think they are a bit more expensive for a tune than say an R/t tuning. Im sure they can tune. They weren't Uprev dealers last year when I got my cable. I got a tune from Vince who helped me out from R/t tuning.

Just got re-tuned at DSG today. I swapped out my Y-pipe and Berk HFC's for Motordyne ARTs and XYZ.. Im satisfied.. My baseline on the dyno dynamics was 242(260 dynojet) which was tuned for that set up. I ended up at 255 after the adjusted tune. Not too bad for swapping two exaust peices..

Guys over there at DSG are super nice and really know their stuff. Highly recomend them.
