Default anybody here with ebay torque dampener?

hi all, i just got a torque dampener of ebay but i have no clue how to install it and i dont want to mess something up ..so can anyone point me to the right direction? thanks

Kinda a pain, i think mine came with directions. Had mine for over 3 years now

had mine since 06.

yea Its WAAAY down in there too. many bloody knuckle on that install. Lots of NVH noise and vibration at the pedal/floor after install too btw.

Maybe its what helped save my motor mounts.. 99k and still in great shape.
anyways, sounds like yer getting your data you requested from Terrasmk.. just adding my .02 cents.

Bracket goes on the top side of passenger side frame rail (the beam that runs to the front crash bumper), the other end bolts to the timing cover... Best I can do from memory, installed mine like 5 years ago. Heres a pic, not the best but it may help a little:



I'd go snap you a picture that showed the damper specifically, but my car is in my shop 20 mins away.

I had to use thread lock on the ends because it would vibrate loose lol
