Default Pulleys.

Hey guys I'm planning on getting UR pulleys on friday, an I was wondering if the water pump an alternator pulleys will make any additional hp with the underdrive crank pulley. Like is the 2 accessory pulleys really worth the extra $100 for let's say .50 hp gain off the two?

Replace all the pulleys and doubt you will see a 1 percent increase in horsepower. You decide if it worth the money.

pulleys dont give horsepower, they free up some hp. these are mostly aesthetic pieces. they dont do much. also read some horror stories of crack pulleys cracking, and damaging the engine

lol, the stories are the reason my set is still in the box. May still do the alt and idler, but prob will sell the crank.

Why would anyone waste the money on the Idler pulley (its not a water pump pulley) when you can just remove the thing. Its a $3 bushing from nissan and a 450k6 belt. Then you just remove who whole unit, that is the lightest pulley mod ever.
