Default Looking for suggestions / advice

i am a recent 2008 Z Touring owner, the car has sentimental value to me (father passed couple months ago) so i am not looking to go overboard on things, but i do want to put in intake and exhaust maybe couple other mods... here are my stipulations

1. dont want it to sound like a pissed off weedeater when i accelerate
2. like i said want to kinda keep it simple
3. dont mind spending money, but looking for best value for dollar
4. want a true dual exhaust

i wouldnt mind yalls opinion on a couple of items

1. dc sports short ram air, anyone have one if so do you like?
2. already leaning towards pop chargers, what do you specifically like about them
3. invidia exhaust, likes / dislikes

i am open to suggestions and appreicate any direction you can help me with

stick with stock airbox with k&n drop in's stay away from the pop charges as they will just suck hot air from the inside. invidia exhaust like all other dual exhaust sound great till you add high flow cars or test pipes. a search in the hr section will give you all the details you need on anything you need to new. use the search function also or you will get flamed.

I agree with the K&N comment, as I am also running those...this also allows me to run the COBB AccessPORT (that is now discontinued) at Stage 2. If you have any HR questions, let me know, as I also own a 2008 and have messed with it quite a bit.

Sorry to hear that man. The drop in is a good idea.

Good luck.

Why do you suggest only a drop in filter and not an intake replacement?
