Slave Cylinder, Clutch, or Both?
Hey, just wanted to get some insight to what my exact problem is. I drive a 2007 350Z 6MT. A few days ago I was driving to a friend's house when all of a sudden my clutch pedal got stuck. It would not fully go up and just stopped halfway. I quickly pulled into a gas station to see what the problem was. I ended up just pulling the clutch pedal back the full way, I pumped it a few times, everything seemed fine and went back on my way.
For these past few days I haven't driven the car much, only for a few miles, but took it out tonight for a longer driver. Something with the car seemed off so I stopped at a parking lot to check it out. I thought that it could be a problem with the clutch pedal so I tried stalling it. I put it in first and I slowly let go of the clutch pedal and the car would not stall. I then quickly went home and left the car in the garage to not do any more damage to it.
What do you think my problem is? Is it possible that the clutch pedal isn't fully disengaging and therefore is ****ing with my car, mainly my clutch? I know there was a recall on the master/slave cylinder? My car does not qualify for the recall, though it wasn't far off from qualifying for it? Could I still try and convince Nissan to fix my car? Or do I just suck at driving and ruined my clutch?

This topic seems to be coming up quite often in the last couple days. How is your clutch fluid COLOR is it dark and murky or really nice and clean and HONEY. Just flush out the old clutch fluid and bleed the lines, use wd40 on clutch pedal assembly and report back. Usually pedal sticks after using it a lot and fluid is getting hot or boiled over.

i had the same thing happen to my 08.. except my pedal got stuck to the floor and wouldn't rebound. my issue ended up being the slave cylinder. thankfully nissan covered the whole thing under warranty so it ended up costing nothing out of pocket.
my car also wasn't under the recall and i was worried it would come out of pocket.
i think your best bet is to contact a nissan dealership and see if it would be under warranty since your car is an 07
