Default 350z powered Audi!

Hey everyone, I just finished swapping in a vq motor from an 03 z into an Audi and I need some help!! First off everthing from the z was swapped into the audi, ignition, fuse box, harness, bcm, cluster, everything! Problem im having is getting the car to start. Before i got my fuel pump wired up i went ahead and started the car with starter fluid and it started fine. After getting the fuel pump wired up, The first thing i noticed is that when i turn the key to on position my SESL light doesnt come on. Tried to start the car and it just turned over. Im not getting power to any of my sensors. From there i figured that my ecu wasnt coming on but why? I checked to see if power was getting to it and it is. Next Thing is that when i press the unlock botton on the z's factory key fob, nothing happens. Before the hazard lights used to flash, but now nothing. I started to think that maybe the immobilizer kicked in but there is no secruity light on the cluster. Ive taken the harness out and put it back in to make sure i didnt miss anything about 5 times now and still nothing. ... Anyone have any ideas where i should go from here?

NATS ( Nissan Anti theft System ) More than likely that is your issue. Your probley missing the NATS ring and the BCM.

Check if u have spark, if not most likely the immobilizer kicked in.... Also make sure the Ecu is grounded to the chassis... i.e. Metal to metal.....

There was a guy on the Maxima.org forums who did a swap who had the same problem. It's the immobilizer. I have no idea how to get around it, or what to program. That's needed knowledge for Nissan motor swaps.

make sure the BCM is working, that's where the keyfob remote communicates with and sensors get power. NATs has nothing to do with the BCM and keyfob.

That's essentially saying I can plug almost any Nissan ECU and motor harness and run the car. If I swap in a VQ40 in my 05 sedan and get a ECU and engine harness, you're saying it would run with the key from my 05 sedan?

That's not at all what I'm saying. You will never run the engine without defeating NATS in an ECU that doesn't belong to your key/keyfob but it's not going to stop the BCM from working (power windows, locks, lights, remote lock/unlock). The reason I mentioned this is because he said his BCM isn't working...so he has issues other than NATS. The fact his keyfob controlled his locks at one point means he likely has the original key and keyfob for the ECU/BCM combo he's using thus NATS isn't an issue for him.

Don't think you can 'splice it out' on the 350z/g35 ECU's, it has to be reflashed to be disabled. I have the option of disabling NATS in my uprev software.

Just a FYI djamps. The NATS goes through the BCM and then to the ECU. Been down this path before with a client that tried to install a turbo timer and shorted out the NATS ring and the BCM.

Now if you want to Get a round NATS, you can have a Osiris Pro dealer disable it in the flash. This is the only way I know around it.

NATS is NOT in the BCM -- it's 100% in the ECM. The BCM encodes the ring's signal onto the CAN bus for the ECM to read, but otherwise has absolutely nothing to do with NATS.

That siad, NATS doesn't affect any function in the BCM like locks and power windows, issues the OP is having. It actually sounds like his BCM is completely dead. If he pulled the ignition switch, ECM/BCM as a single unit from the doner vehicle (evident since his keyfob actually worked at one point), NATS is not an issue anyways.

I never said NATS was in the BCM. Quote Below:
